What's Worship like? We're rooted in Scripture and the ancient traditions of the Church expressed in a modern way. It's been called a laid back liturgy. Liturgy simply means work of the people. Work? Yeah, so we participate in worship meaning that we aren’t just an audience there to see or hear worship “done” for us. Our worship is participatory - we stand up, sit down, sing, speak, come forward, taste, see and smell - it’s an engagement of mind, body, and soul, the whole person. We strive to demonstrate the beauty of God and his creation too. You'll find that we want to be honest about our shortcomings and God's grace in the songs we sing and the words we say. Really, the best way to see what our worship is like is to experience it. Come check us out.
When do we meet? 9 A.M. every Sunday.
Where do we meet? We meet at 233 Kalispell Ave in Whitefish. We share the southside of the Four Square church (east of the Firebrand Hotel). Look for our signs.
What about kids? We like ‘em. You should bring them. We encourage them to participate in worship as much as they are able. Currently we offer a nursery during our worship service for 0-4 year olds. Immediately after our worship service we offer a short children’s Bible class for kids ages 4-10 with more age/stage specific classes starting in early 2019.
What should I wear? Whatever you want. Some dress up; some come in ski gear so they can ski afterwards; some come with their camp clothes on smelling like a campfire. All are welcome.
You'll find that we like meeting new people. So, don't be surprised if you're invited to grab a bite to eat or beer with someone from the church after we meet.
